2023-24 Hiroshi Wagatsuma Graduate Fellowships
Hiroshi Wagatsuma Graduate Fellowships will be awarded to UCLA graduate students working on a dissertation or comparable research project with a substantial cross-cultural or comparative dimension, preferably one concerning Japan or other Asian country and North American comparison. Applications should discuss how the proposal meets the requirements of the award to continue in the spirit of Prof. Wagatsuma's work. Graduate student applicants must be current UCLA students in good standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Please have the following information prepared before beginning your application: (1) Proposal of 2-3 pages in length; (2) Unofficial UCLA transcript; (3) Current CV; (4) Budget; (5) Contact information for one academic reference.
