LAI Graduate Student Summer 2025 Research Grants
The Latin American Institute and its Program in Caribbean Studies invite applications for Graduate Student Summer Research Grants of up to $2,000. The funding is provided by the Mellon Endowment in Latin American Studies and the Manuel Pedro Gonzalez Endowment in Caribbean Studies. Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time graduate students at UCLA. Applicants may be citizens of any country and can be enrolled in a graduate program in any school, department, or institute. Research must be conducted about Latin America or communities of Latin American descent in the United States or elsewhere.
Required Documents: Research Statement (2-page limit), current CV, itemized budget and timeline, and two letters of recommendation by Friday, March 28, 2025.
