Center fellowships provide support to UCLA graduate students working in the fields of literature, linguistics, history, anthropology, architecture, art history, theater, ethnomusicology, sociology, and political science, as well as professional training related to Japan. Each application must be accompanied by a copy of transcript (official) and two letters of recommendation from faculty members who are familiar with the applicant’s academic performance. There is no citizenship requirement.
